The 25th Annual Social Gathering and Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony of Changu Kana Thakur Secondary and Higher Secondary Vidyalaya (Junior College) of Janardan Bhagat Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha was held on Monday,6th January 2025 with great enthusiasm.
On this occasion, Hon. Shri. Rajendra Ahire, Director of Education, Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Vashi, Mumbai Division, was present as the chief guest of the program. Hon. Shri. Arun Sheth Bhagat, President of Janardan Bhagat Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha, was present as the President of the program. Also, Hon. Smt. Sitatai Patil former Deputy Mayor of Panvel Municipal Corporation, Hon. Shri. Sameer Thakur- former Corporator of Panvel Municipal Corporation, Hon.Dr. S. T. Gadade- Secretary of Janardan Bhagat Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha were present as special guests. Also Principal Shri. Kailash Satre Sir, Principal of Higher Secondary Section Shri. Prashant More Sir, Principal Shri. Santosh Chavan Sir, Principal Shri.Subhash Mankar Sir, Principal Hon. Smt.Neelima Shinde Madam, Supervisor Shri. Ajit Sonawane Sir, Supervisor Smt. Swati Patil Madam, Supervisor Smt.Vaishali Pardhi Madam as well as student parents, teaching staff and non-teaching staff were present at the program.
In the introduction to the program, Principal Shri. Prashant More Sir introduced the guests. The Principal Sir mentioned about the continuously improving HSC board results of the Higher Secondary Department, various activities being implemented, the continuously improving performance of the sports sector in indoor and outdoor, and the NSS unit. The annual report of the Higher Secondary School was published by the dignitaries. Also, in the academic year 2024-25, students and teachers who performed outstandingly in academics, makerthon, elocation,essay, NSS, as well as various sports at various levels such as school, divisional, taluka, district, state, were felicitated by the dignitaries.
Students, if you want to succeed in life, you have to work hard. Also, you will be successful only if you overcome the struggle by facing difficulties and there are angels who help you while you are struggling. The chief guest Rajendra Ahire Sir said in his speech that students should avoid excessive use of mobile phones and teachers should use the latest technology in their teaching.
The trust that parents have shown in Janardan Bhagat Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha so far is why this institution, which started in Gavhan Kopar village has transformed into a big tree today. Today, more than twenty thousand students are studying in this institution and for this I am very grateful to the parents, said Shri. Arunsheth Bhagat Saheb in his presidential address.
Then, through a special cultural program called ‘Incredible India’, the students of class XI Arts, Commerce and Science sections presented beautiful dance performances. Through each of their dance performances, the students won the hearts of all the attendees by presenting the culture and tradition of various states. The program concluded with a vote of thanks.
