In NEP 2020 Indian arts and culture have been recommended for the development of students, teachers, and educators.
4th day of the Shikshan Saptah during 22-28 July, 2024 will be dedicated as a Cultural Day in all schools of the country. A well-designed cultural day can be an incredible educational and social engagement tool.
On the occasion of “Cultural Day” under “Shikshan Saptah”the Cultural Committee of Changu Kana Thakur Secondary and Higher Secondary Vidyalaya New Panvel had organized “Cultural Day” on 27 July 2024 under the guidance of Respected Principal Mr.Prashant More Sir, Supervisor Mrs.Swati Patil Madam (Science) ,Mr.Ajit Sonawane Sir ( Commerce and Arts).
On this Special occasion, Total 40 students show their artistic performances to elaborate the concept “Unity in Diversity”. Some students performed on Maharashtriy tradition like अभंग, गोंधळ, लावणी, कोळी नृत्य, etc. The day became colourful due to “Traditional Dress Ramp walk”by students.The day was made grand by regional folk dances of Uttar Pradesh, Kannada, Malayalam,Tamil,Telgu,Punjabi,Gujrati,Marwari,Rajsthani etc. The day became special due to कथाकथन (लोकमान्य टिळकांचे किस्से) by Mast.Samyak Kamble.
In the conclusion we achieved one of the objectives of Cultural Day that is to transform the school environment into a vibrant and joyful place of learning through various activities of art and culture and to provide a suitable platform to celebrate the artistic talent and creativity of students.
