On 5th August 2024, Monday the co-curricular committee has organized a seminar on Andhashraddha Nirmoolan by Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti (MANS) , under the guidance of respected Principal Mr. Prashant More Sir, Supervisor Mr. Ajit Sonawane Sir (Commerce and Arts), and Supervisor Mrs. Swati Patil Madam (Science).
MANS is an organisation dedicated to fighting superstition in Maharashtra. It is a voluntary organisation working to oppose and agitate against harmful superstitions and rituals which misguide and exploit.
Superstition plays a significant role in decision making processes and academic performance.
Today female representatives of MANS have given lecture on important topic VAYAT YETANA to girls of our college . They guided girls about the female reproductive system, menstruation and the physical and emotional changes that occur during puberty. It also addresses common myths and misconceptions and emphasizes the scientific basis for these bodily changes.
The program consists of interaction between our girls (students) and female health educators addressing common myths and misconceptions, providing scientific facts and explanations.
