78th Independence Day

The 78th Independence Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 15th August by Janardan Bhagat Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha’s Changu Kana Thakur Secondary and Higher Secondary Vidyalaya ,New Panvel. The flag was hoisted by the Shri. Y.T. Deshmukh Saheb, Vice President, J.B.S.P.Sanstha.

This Independence Day program was attended by Shri.R.H. Patil Sir Deputy Education Officer ,Zilla Parishad Palghar, Dr. S.T. Gadade Sir Secretary – J.B.S.P. Sanstha, Shri.Jagdish Gharat Sir, Shri.Sandeep Patil Sir, Shri.Vijay Mhatre Sir, Shri.Harchand Singh Saggu Sir, Shri.Jairam Mumbaikar Sir.Also Shri.Kailas Satre Sir – Principal Secondary and Higher Secondary Section,Shri. Santosh Chavan Sir- Headmaster English Medium (Secondary),  Shri.Prashant More Sir -Principal Junior College, Shri.Subhash Mankar Sir -Headmaster Marathi Medium (Primary), Smt.Nilima Shinde Madam – Headmistress English Medium (Pre-Primary),  Shri.Kailas Mhatre Sir – Supervisor Secondary Section (Marathi Medium), Shri. Ajit Sonawane Sir-Supervisor (Arts and Commerce), Smt.Swati Patil Madam – Supervisor (Science),  Smt.Neerja Adhury Madam – Supervisor Secondary ( English Medium), Smt.Vaishali Pardhi Madam – Supervisor Pre-Primary( English Medium),and students, parents, teachers and non-teaching staff were present.

The President of the ceremony Hon.Shri.Y.T.Deshmukh Saheb in his presidential speech said that, ‘Due to the progress made by India in the field of education, we are providing quality manpower to the world. We should be disciplined and punctual to become an ideal citizen. Due to the progress made by India, today India has reached the third position in the world.

Secretary of the Sanstha, Hon.Dr.S.T. Gadade Sir in his speech on behalf of the organization wished everyone a Happy Independence Day and  expressed his views on educational progress of Sanstha.

             Principal Hon.Shri.Santosh Chavan Sir in his introduction detailed the progress made by India in various fields like digital, space, sports, education.Also suggested that, all of us should love the motherland and the tricolor of our country should continue to fly.

Students of pre-primary, primary, secondary and higher secondary departments presented their talents in this Independence Day ceremony.In it, the small children of pre-primary, Sant Mirabai, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Veer Savarkar performed the roles.  Students of secondary section presented a group song. Students of Marathi and English secondary section expressed their thoughts about freedom through speeches. The program concluded with a dance performance ‘Suno Gaur Se Duniyawalo’ performed by the students of the Higher Secondary Section.
