On the occasion of “Navratri” the Cultural Committee of Changu Kana Thakur Secondary and Higher Secondary Vidyalaya, New Panvel has organised Programme of ‘Dandiya Ras’ under the guidance of Mr. Prashant More Sir (Principal of Junior College), Supervisor Mr. Ajit Sonawane Sir(Arts and Commerce), Supervisor Mrs. Swati Patil Madam (Science).For this Programme following dignitaries were present,

Navratri is an auspicious festival celebrated all over India for different reasons every year. It is culturally dedicated to Goddess Durga, an exemplar of Shakti or the cosmic energy and is believed to accord spiritual and worldly fulfilment.It is a celebration of the feminine energy, Shakti, embodied by the goddess Durga. To celebrate these nine days Mrs.Vaishali Wadkar Madam made cutout of importance of nine colours and related Durga’s and put it on notice board.The program was concluded by strong determination of “स्त्री- शक्ती जागर”.
