On the occasion of 50th birthday of Respected Shri. Prashant Thakur Saheb , MLA of Panvel, on Monday,5th August 2024 N.S.S. Committee of Changu Kana Thakur Secondary and Higher Secondary Vidyalaya, New Panvel had arranged “Plantation Campaign” at आद्य क्रांतिकारक वासुदेव बळवंत फडके स्मृतीमंदिर,शिरढोण under the guidance of Principal Mr. Prashant More Sir, Supervisor Mr. Ajit Sonawane Sir(Arts and Commerce).

We reached our destination with 41 Students and 35 plants which were gifted by our teachers.Intially we made a proper place for each plant.
The program was started with prayer and welcoming all the dignitaries by books.Principal Mr.Prashant More Sir guided the students about N.S.S. activities and tree plantation. All the dignitaries and students did plantation on the desired location and made a commitment to take care of all the plants.
Firstly we visited “आद्य क्रांतिकारक वासुदेव बळवंत फडके गाथामंदिर”There we had get to see the full history of “आद्य क्रांतिकारक वासुदेव बळवंत फडके.”
Then we had reached to “आद्य क्रांतिकारक वासुदेव बळवंत फडके वाचनालय.”There we had get a number of books on a variety of topics to read. Later on we visited “आद्य क्रांतिकारक वासुदेव बळवंत फडके वाडा ” one of the historical place in शिरढोण.
The program concluded by Mr. Vivek Patil Sir’s announcements, “झाडे लावा झाडे जगवा”,”वंदे मातरम्”,”भारत माता की जय.”
